General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

The decision regarding surgical management needed or not has to be taken after assessing the severity of knee injury.

You have given a history of knee trauma. To assess the severity of damage I suggest x-ray and if needed MRI scan.

If joint damage more then surgery might be needed or else injury might worsen. Kindly attach reports to guide you further.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami, General & Family Physician
